Having high quality content that reaches the desired audience is one of the main goals of any blogger out there.  In this article, we look at some of the most effective ways to get the best results with your blog posts.

Create a content strategy

Having a documented content strategy keeps your content creation on track. Share on social media

Social media networks provides a better way to reach a wider audience for your content. Find the right time and days when your audience are most active and post your content during those times. Since the life time of content on social media is very short, it is advisable to share content multiple times for a greater audience reach.

Create visual content

Images have an incredible influence on engagement levels. Create content that is visual by nature, such as infographics and slide shares. Include visual graphics in your blog posts to enhance your content. I personally use Canva to create my blog posts images. Ensure you have the right sizes of images that can easily be shared on the social media.

    1. I haven’t used Blogger before, but I think, it is possible to transfer to WordPress. There are advantages of using WordPress like you get to interact with many fellow WordPress bloggers who you can learn from.

    1. Yes, going for a specific niche, enables you become an authority in that area. Am experimenting on narrowing down to a given niche on my new blog that am working on, and have seen that, it brings in great results. This works well for your audience and search engines.

  16. I think the hardest part is being consistent when you have a full-time job. But it’s true, it’s important to build up a loyal fan base.

    1. I personally get more than 80% of my traffic from social media, so its worth the effort promoting content there, but you need to have a strategy like which groups to join, and how & when to share you content.

  17. I really need to start doing content strategy. When I was a new blogger, it was easy to manage without it. But now that I’m over a year in, there’s a lot going on. Thanks!

  18. The hardest share is usually the first one with blogging. Whenever I hit publish I make sure to share my stuff out across all my social media platforms.

Having a CTA is important too, I’ve seen a lot of videos where they deliver great content but totally forget about their call to action.
Thanks for putting this training together, good stuff.

    1. Hi Reco, I agree with you, marketing is the key to successful blogging. Producing Quality content isn’t just enough, you must push it to reach the desired audience.

  19. Great tips! I’m really working on the “BECOME AN AUTHORITY IN YOUR FIELD/INDUSTRY” part because although I have extensive experience in niche, it’s always something new to learn, whether there’s a new company on the market offering work at home positions or a new business opportunity. Trying to juggle my full-time job and managing the blog can get challenging but I know it will pay off in the long run. Thanks for sharing!

  20. Thank you for sharing your tips. I struggle with consistency and if I don’t pre-write my posts I won’t have the time during the week. So it definitely helps to stay on top of that.
