7 ways to get better results with your blog posts

Having high quality content that reaches the desired audience is one of the main goals of any blogger out there.  In this article, we look at some of the most effective ways to get the best results with your blog posts.

Create a content strategy

Having a documented content strategy keeps your content creation on track. A strategy helps you plan what you need to create, visualize what you already have and know how to use your content to its fullest potential. A strategy also helps you schedule your content creation, publication and shares on the social media. A strategy must have goals like a desired  percentage increase in traffic.

7 Ways to get better Results with your blog posts

Social media networks provides a better way to reach a wider audience for your content. Find the right time and days when your audience are most active and post your content during those times. Since the life time of content on social media is very short, it is advisable to share content multiple times for a greater audience reach.

Create visual content

Images have an incredible influence on engagement levels. Create content that is visual by nature, such as infographics and slide shares. Include visual graphics in your blog posts to enhance your content. I personally use Canva to create my blog posts images. Ensure you have the right sizes of images that can easily be shared on the social media.

  12. Thank you for sharing. I feel like with every new post I do, I learn more. But it’s so hard to figure out what to do as most people use word press and I use Blogger, as I am only starting out.

    1. I haven’t used Blogger before, but I think, it is possible to transfer to WordPress. There are advantages of using WordPress like you get to interact with many fellow WordPress bloggers who you can learn from.

Great tips for getting the most out of the effort and time put into a blog post. I think I have recognized lately that making sure that you are as niche specific as possible can help you to become an authority on your subject and you can become to go-to person for your readers to keep coming back to for information.

  25. The hardest share is usually the first one with blogging. Whenever I hit publish I make sure to share my stuff out across all my social media platforms.

Having a CTA is important too, I’ve seen a lot of videos where they deliver great content but totally forget about their call to action.
Thanks for putting this training together, good stuff.

  31. Great tips! I’m really working on the “BECOME AN AUTHORITY IN YOUR FIELD/INDUSTRY” part because although I have extensive experience in niche, it’s always something new to learn, whether there’s a new company on the market offering work at home positions or a new business opportunity. Trying to juggle my full-time job and managing the blog can get challenging but I know it will pay off in the long run. Thanks for sharing!
